This is your Pee Dee Blues Bash and we're glad you're here.  Have a great time!

Charlie Sayles & the Blues Disciples, featuring Tony Fazio (DC)   Charlie Sayles
www.charliesayles.comwww.tonyfazio.com
One of the few artists you’ll ever meet who is included in Sheldon Harris’s “Blues Who’s Who,” harmonica iconoclast Charlie Sayles is a blues troublemaker in the first degree. Having plied his trade since the 1970s, Sayles has made it his business to tear down and rebuild the hallowed tradition of urban blues harp. His animated stage show features great guitar from Tony Fazio and a super DC-based band. Truly a unique artist, Charlie Sayles never disappoints.

Studebaker John & the Hawks (Chicago)   Studebaker
www.studebakerjohn.com
Studebaker John (Grimaldi) is an enduring presence on the Windy City blues scene, a master of both slide guitar and harmonica. He writes great songs and, with his tough-as-nails Chicago band, knows how to throw down a boogie that can make even the dead jump & jive. With CD releases on a variety of top-drawer labels, Studebaker John tours constantly and makes a rare Carolina appearance with three not-to-be-missed shows on our inaugural festival. Check out the Chicago blues of Studebaker John & The Hawks!

Drink Small (South Carolina)   Drink Small (South Carolina)
www.drinksmallblues.com
The patron saint of Palmetto State blues, Drink Small, “The Blues Doctor,” was born in 1933 in Bishopville (Lee County). He first recorded in 1956 for Vee Jay Records (with The Spiritualaires of Columbia, SC) before embarking on a long and storied career that has led him through blues, R&B, funk, and everything in between. Razorwire guitar and a unique basso profundo voice make him instantly identifiable and, for many South Carolinians, he is THE point-of-reference when it comes to the blues. SC Folk Heritage Award winner, a member of the SC Hall of Fame ... this is his first Florence show in many years ... don’t miss it!
