Harper grew up in the Aussie outback but was exposed to American blues and rock at an early age.  A master of both the harmonica and didgeridoo (Australian aboriginal wind instrument), he blends world beat rhythms with big-boned urban blues and, with his fine young band, puts on a memorable show.  His third CD on the respected Blind Pig Records label should be in stores by the time Harper arrives at our festival.  Unique!
